From farms, small towns, and cities, South Dakotans volunteered and were drafted to serve their country in the war in Vietnam. These soldiers, sailors, airmen, and others came home with stories and experiences that they couldn’t often share.

 

Vietnam: Survivor Stories is a documentary featuring Vietnam War veterans recounting some of their most poignant memories of their time overseas, their homecomings, and how Vietnam affected them as a person.
