Overview
Governor Dennis Daugaard, Lt. Governor Matt Michels,
and constitutional officers were sworn in
Saturday, January 8, 2011 at the State Capitol in Pierre.
Governor Daugaard began his first term as South Dakota's
32nd governor by taking the oath of office and speaking
to the state. SDPB broadcast the inaugural ceremony,
as well as the Grand March of the Governor's Inaugural Ball. |
