| Dakota Pathways: A History
This Emmy Award-winning series produced by SDPB Television was originally designed as an educational series aimed at 4th grade history students; however it is being enjoyed by viewers of all ages. The series of 20 fifteen minute shows allows students and their families to consider South Dakota history from a new perspective. It was commissioned by the South Dakota Department of Education to provide a resource for teachers that would meet the state's Content Standards for Grade Four. SDPB developed the series with the help of a panel consisting of educators, historians, teachers and curriculum specialists. Take an exciting journey through over a thousand years of South Dakota history.
