A Falconer’s Memoir is a lyrical study of man, nature and peregrine falcons. The documentary follows author, environmentalist and world-renowned falconer Dan O’Brien as he trains a falcon, struggles to survive on the prairie and reminisces about the past.

 

Spectacular scenery, a fascinating subject and O’Brien’s heartfelt words capture a magical summer at the foot of the sacred Bear Butte in northwestern South Dakota. A Falconer’s Memoir is a production of H2O Productions, and presented by SDPB.
