Chester Olsen (1910-2002) South Dakota’s old-time singer, musician, and instrument maker from Wakonda, left a legacy of music.

 

In 2005 a group of his friends and fans gathered in Gayville, South Dakota at the local hall to pay tribute. This video includes the special concert, and appearances by Chester Olsen on SDPB in 1981 and 1991.
